mawa/khoya/kova kachori - deep fried stuffed bread with milk fudge.kachoris are one of the addictive snacks and this one is the low sugar as the chocolate itself has some sweetness there.this kachori is little bit modified from the original version and i wanted to do the recipe in my own version.You can check my other kachori recipes by searching through search box.

somewhat am very slow in posting the recipes and am planning that way too,because i want a relaxing blogging than rushing one by posting recipes back to back.Infact i did not get a mood to post or write the recipe this week,dont know why.But to avoid my boredom,i want to blog recipes.Little busy in so many things and learnt so many things in past few days.today i saw some blogging related issue through my friend and she seem sad about her recipes replicated and posted without giving any credits.Why people doing such things,shame on them.If you are making as per your own taste,then give the credit that got the idea from here and adapted as per my taste.ok enough about them,lets move on to recipe discussion.,

kachori,stuffed poori recipe with some savory or sweet stuffing originated from Rajasthani cuisine.we are modifying recipes and they are in new dimensions,making them with or without ingredients and we are introduced to new ingredients and making new recipes or combining it with modified recipes.From this we came to know,changes are permanent.yes changes are permanent and we took idli or dosa for breakfast,but now we switched to smoothie bowl.when i was introduced to blogging,i saw same recipe in different methods and slowly i saw so many variations of same recipe with different ingredients.Initially i saw this recipe in my friend's blog,desi fiesta there she made kachori platter for an event challenge.But i searched the recipe last month,i saw so many variations there,so i simply made my version with just plain khoya and grated chocolate.

bought some dark chocolate compound last month and i made some homemade chocolates and i sealed left over chocolate bar in a pouch and kept in refrigerator.After making peas kachori,i was in a mood to make this mawa kachori and i planned the recipe as original one but cashews and pistachios are out of stock.So having dark chocolate in my mind, i made this one and it was really tasty and tastes more like a sweet pie.

comparing to peas kachori,the size little bit smaller,so you did not worry about the filling.if you want the filling little bit sweet then add the powdered sugar to it and give it a mix and then proceed the reicpe.

I used all purpose flour for making this recipe,you can also use whole wheat flour for the recipe.Make a stiff dough for making a flaky crust.Use your favorite stuffing as per your taste and enjoy the recipe.,lets move on making the recipe.,

deep fried bread stuffed with milk fudge and chocolate

Ingredients
  • kova/mawa/khoya - 1/2 cup
  • maida/all purpose flour - 1 cup
  • chocolate ,grated - 2 tablespoon
  • salt - to taste
  • oil - for frying
Instructions
  1. make a stiff dough with all purpose flour,salt and enough water.Rest the dough for atleast 15 minutes.
  2. Mix the khoya and chocolate grating in a bowl and mix it well.As khoya is already flavored with cardamom powder,you did not need any flavorings here.
  3. now separate the dough into small sized balls.Take one of them and roll into a thick disc and place a teaspoon of filling in the centre.
  4. Seal it properly and flat in gently with your palm or using rolling pin.Repeat the same for remaining dough and filling.
  5. Heat the oil enough for deep frying.Deep fry the stuffed pooris one by one in low flame and remove once it reaches brown color.
  6. serve piping hot with or without sugar syrup.
