Ingredients:
- 100 grams mava (khoya)
- 50 grams fox nuts (makhanas)
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 onions, grated
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 2-3 Green chili chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder (dhania)
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/3 cup curds (dahi)
- 3 tablespoon ghee
- Ghee for deep-frying
- Salt to taste
- few finely chopped cilantro.
Method:
- Take a pan and deep fry the fox nuts very lightly in ghee.
- In another pan roast the khoya without any ghee very lightly.
- Cut the tomatoes into pieces, add 1 cup of water and cook. When soft, prepare a soup by passing through a sieve.
- Heat the ghee in vessel and fry the onions till pink in color.
- Add the ginger, green chili, turmeric, dhania and chili powders and fry for a minute.
- Now add the tomato soup and curd.
- After adding curd cook it for few minutes and stir it continuously.
- Add mava, fox nut and mix well cook for few minutes on a medium flame.
- Sprinkle the garam masala and cook again for 1 minute.
- garnish with finely chopped cilantro.
- Serve hot.
