Announced on May 19, 2021, Lana Wachowski's Matrix 4 will finally be released in French theaters on March 30, 2022.
Interrupted during filming due to the health crisis, Matrix 4 will not be released in May 2021 as previously announced. Lana Wachowski's film should finally be released on French screens on March 30, 2022. Last May, Variety announced a likely resumption of filming on July 6 for 8 weeks.
The production of the fourth installment of the saga would therefore resume in Berlin, where the shooting was suddenly suspended on March 17. The feature is led by Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Max Riemelt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Lambert Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick or Brian J. Smith.
