MATHIEU KASSOVITZ Long-Form Audio Interview

This is an interview Terry did with French actor-director Mathieu Kassovitz in 2001. We were sitting outside at the 4 Seasons Beverly Hills, and there is a lot of street and helicopter noise. Mathieu speaks at length about the new French Cinema that was emerging, where he was attempting to make more blockbuster-style films, but on a smaller budget and with French crews. At the time he was promoting his new directorial feature THE CRIMSON RIVERS. The pic here is of him directing Jean Reno in that film.
