The little things in life that bring me joy: when my sunglasses match my shoes. I can be very intense (if not OCD) about matching colors and prints. It’s hard to explain because my personal matching rules are very complicated, but I would never walk out any door when wearing green socks and a blue shirt at the same time, nor will I wear 2 orange with red, leopard with any other print – and at the same time I’m really happy about my outfit when my socks are the exact same gray shade as my shirt, when there’s a green leaf on my ring that matches the green logo on my shoes (example here) and today my new sunglasses turned out to exactly match the sneakers I almost forgot I had.
Another thing that brings me joy: finding this skirt on sale for almost nothing after having my eye on it for weeks already. As so many things in my wardrobe, it’s quite a basic item but with just that interesting detail that catches my eye: the zipper and asymmetric split. It’s always the small things, I guess everyone has their little obsessions right?
