Award winning gospel group, Mary Mary aka Erica Campbell and Tina Campbell are reuniting for a performance during the 33rd annual Stellar Awards in March.
Also announced as a performer is Snoop Dogg, who is scheduled to perform music from his first ever gospel album Bible of Love, Snoop hasn’t said who he will take the stage with yet. His Gospel album has collaborations with some of Gospel music biggest stars, including Rance Allen, The Clark Sisters, Tye Tribbett, Kim Burrell, and B Slade aka Tonex.
Other performers scheduled to appear are, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Travis Greene, Tye Tribbett, Anthony Brown & group therAPy, Kierra Sheard, KeKe Wyatt, Jonathan McReynolds, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Todd Dulaney, Koryn Hawthorne, Ricky Dillard & New G and others. Returning to Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena on Saturday, March 24, 2018 the Stellar Awards welcomes the return of 12-time Grammy Award winner and gospel music icon Kirk Franklin, as host.
Contemporary gospel group Anthony Brown & group therAPy leads the field of nominees this year with ten nominations. Tasha Cobbs Leonard, JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise, and Travis Greene follow with nine nominations.
Other top nominees are, CeCe Winans, Marvin Sapp, The Williams Brothers, Ricky Dillard, Bishop Paul S. Morton, The Rance Allen Group, Tina Campbell and Le’Andria Johnson.
Tamela Mann will be honored with the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Stellar Awards show taping will return to The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 24, 2018, and premiering in syndication in the spring.
