Congratulations are in order for Marshall Allman! The actor who is best known to True Blood fans as Tommy Mickens, the troubled brother of Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), is expecting fraternal twins with his wife Jamie Ann Allman in the spring!
The couple told People Magazine that twins run in their families so it wasn’t that much of a shock but they will still need all they help that they can get! According to the report, Marshall and Jamie Ann, who starred on AMC’s the Killing, made a film as a way of sharing the news with their families:
“We were ecstatic to find out we were pregnant and overjoyed to learn they were fraternal twins. Twins run in both of our families so we were prepared for the possibility, but we know we’re gonna need all the prayers and help we can get. Both of us being actors, we made a film. It made it super fun and easy to share the news in a surprising way across the country.”
Marshall joins co-stars Sam Trammell, Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), and Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) as a parent of twins and his new additions will mark eight babies born or in the process of being adopted among the cast thus far through the run of the series.
We here at True Blood Fan Source congratulate Marshall and Jamie Ann and wish them the best of luck!
