Marriage Confessions: For Parents

Posted on the 28 July 2012 by Fgcitire

A story was told about a christian couple who were having issues in their marriage. So much was the problem that it was affecting their only child, their only son. One day while the boy was having a chat with his mother concerning the marital issues at home, they got into an argument.  His mother was so angry with her son that she spoke this words to him, “Get out of my house and I don’t want to see you anymore“. Angry and bitter, the boy decided to visit his friend and that was the last day the boy ever saw his mum.  While the boy and his friend were playing with a loaded gun, the boy mistakenly pulled the trigger and shoot his head.

As parents, our words are the key to our children’s destiny. We are to bless our children everyday, every time, every minute and every second as God placed them in our hands for guidance. So here is the confession below that you must speak towards your children. Their Future is in your hands.
Jesus is Lord of my children, (Names)…. They walk in the Spirit, and fulfill not the lusts of the flesh. Christ has redeemed them from the curses, and like Abraham has been blessed, they’re blessed going out, they‘re blessed coming in. they are blessed today and everyday of their lives; they’re the head and not the tail; the first and not the last. They are above and never beneath. I’ll train them in the way of the God to make my children wise.

I’ll set no wicked example before their eyes; not provoking them to anger, but by the nurture of the Lord I will bring them up diligently, taught in the word. Their steps are ordered and directed each day, for the angels watch and keep them in all their ways. No evil shall befall them nor do sicknesses bring them low; for I will teach them to resist it and cause it all to go.

I’ll lift my hands before them and sing praises to God always, for establishing my seeds on earth and fulfilling all their days. Amen.
