Mark Zuckerberg’s FB Hacker Receives $11k Reward

Khalil Shreateh, that Palestinian dude who hacked Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook is about to receive a whopping $11k in cash for exploiting Facebook bug, thanks to a crowd-sourced campaign.

Even after pointing out the security flaw, Facebook didn’t appreciate Khalil for pointing out this bud because apparently he has violated Terms of Service during the process. He was just looking for some attention, and possibly to score a job. But, it didn’t happen. Facebook even denied to send him the bounty for reporting the bug, which is about $500.

These events seems to have melted the hearts of online donors who then teamed up to help out this poor guy by opening a  GoFundMe campaign. Within just a day, the project collected it’s $10k goal. The number currently stands at $11,976 and it’s increasing.  Just like Mashable says, this obviously turned out to be something better than Khalil expected. He is now a world famous hacker and is $11K richer at the same time. Without doubt, companies will be contacting him to offer jobs very soon.
