A few weeks ago I received an email asking me if I would like to try My Cocktail cocktail mixes, of course I said yes! Who doesn’t love a good cocktail?
The main cocktail mix I was sent was a 14 serving Mojito mix which is currently waiting for July and a party with my friends. However in my parcel I was also sent one Lime MarGOrita.
MarGOrita’s are part of the frozen drinks range, they come in single serving 300ml packets, and in a box of 4 servings for £9.99. You are told to freeze them for 3 hours, and then to stand for 5 minutes to get the perfect frozen cocktail, but I didn’t listen to that, I put in the freezer for about 8 hours while I was out at work and then put it in the fridge for 3.
I found that the serving size was perfect to enjoy in an evening, there was enough for one glass and a small top up which is ideal! Don’t want to end up drinking too much on a school night after all!
The idea behind these is that they are great for taking out with you, and I can imagine taking them on a picnic. Enjoying the one drink and spending time with friends.
I think it looks lovely with it’s slight green color and it tasted delicious, if i’d been more prepared I would probably have added a slice of lime just to make it look a little nicer.
You can buy My Cocktail mixes in ASDA, and so i’m hoping to pop into my local store to pick up the Strawberry DaiqGOri, which was one of my favorite holiday cocktails in Ibiza. I don’t think £9.99 is a bad price for a box of 4 because that makes each serving only £2.50.
