Today in Philly outside the Shale Gas Insight, industry conference, Marcellus Shale Earth First! made a ruckus.
This is the third year that the shale gas industry has gathered at the Philadelphia convention center to pat themselves on the back for perpetuating their own existence while destroying that of everything else on the planet.
So while Exxon Mobile, Andarko Petroleum, and the rest of the Shale Gas Industry execs met at the convention center, activists brought Junk Instruments, Megaphones, and Bucket Drums to bring noise experienced by front line communities to the industries’ door
Because of last year’s intervention, and the promise of today’s action police pre-deployed barricades.
They fear us because we’re winning!
