I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for the perfect mascara for a very, very long time. My experience with mascaras has been disappointing due to their flakiness or how they run and leave me with raccoon eyes throughout the night. Not cool!
Luckily, I had the chance to test the Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir mascara, and it quickly became a favorite. It gives lots of volume, with the option to build even more volume with multiple coats, which gives me the long, thick lashes look. I absolutely love that I can choose to apply the mascara for day or night by adjusting the number of coats I apply. Fewer coats for a subtly enhanced appearance, and additional coats for a more volumunous, glamorous look. I like that it doesn’t flake, smudge, or run. More importantly, I was beyond excited to try the mascara because of its vegan friendly ingredients. According to PETA, Marc Beauty is cruelty-free, I truly appreciate when big brands don’t sacrifice compassion for fashion.
