Story: Manodrome starts when Ralphie (Eisenberg) finds his life becoming difficult. His girlfriend Sal (Young) is pregnant, and the costs are adding up. However, he meets Jason (Ettinger) and gets introduced to a group of mysterious men led by Dad Dan (Brody).

Once he joins the group, the group shows what they are all about. It brings out a much more aggressive side to him, as they thrive on violence. Ralphie spirals out of control, risking everything he had once worked so hard for.

Verdict on Manodrome

Manodrome is a thriller following a man struggling to keep his life together who joins a club. It is a group of men who want to regain control and show an aggressive nature to make it happen. However, his transformation could cost him the most important things in his life.

This movie takes us into a world of toxic masculinity where it focuses on a group in search of violence to overcome their problems. It doesn’t let them find a sensible reason for their struggles, causing his life to get out of control. This movie feels more uncomfortable and leaves us in a strange place. It never feels as engaging as it wants to be and ends up feeling like a weak attempt to copy Fight Club.
