Mango Launching Party

By Kaidarul @KaiDarul
Mango launched last week. And this is my second post for this matter. You can check out the other one here.
I was really hyped to go to the launch because Mango has been one of those brands that I really love. My cousins and aunts have always given me things from this brand such as bags and wallets every time they visit the Philippines.
Hype on Lookbook.nu please!

My Mango souvenir item. Somebody stole it!! More on this story below.

Food were served that night, but I opted to not eat at all for the fact that there might be pork served. As they say, prevention is always better.
Familiar faces in the Northern Mindanao blogging community were seen there. I was so happy to have shared jokes and chats with them. I mean, NorthMin bloggers are always so supportive to each other. There is no sense of crab mentality here, just plain friendship. ^___^

People from Mango.

A toast to success.

Iligan Bloggers minus Me

I wanted to go out for the ribbon cutting. Then again, they said that we can just wait around because they don't want us to crowd the entrance. So, I just took photos of people taking photos of the ribbon cutting. Fair enough?

Pick your phone!

Representatives from Madrid and the Phils. ^__^

Upon waiting for this launch, my bestfriend and I hung out at Starbucks. Then, we saw these two foreigners. I never thought that they would be the representatives from Madrid. Twas an amazing experience to meet them though.

Raffle was also given that night. Boo! I didn't win.

Now, back to my Mango souvenir theft story.
After registering for the launch, we were given souvenirs already. It was a beautiful sequinned bag from Mango. Then, I had to leave it with other souvenirs of other NorthMin bloggers. Mine was placed at the outer part of the group.
When it is time to go, we went to fetch our souvenirs. At first, we thought that Ate Lai lost her freebie. Then, they went to Mango to ask for such incident. Mango said they cannot give another one. It is understandable. I am a business student. And all of the freebies are accounted for as expenses.
After such, we realized that it was I who lost a souvenir. I was so devastated. I cried that night because I caused so much worry to ate Lai. And she was so nice because she gave her souvenir to me instead. Then, I cried again. I know, I was such a crybaby.
I cannot believe the fact that someone from the launch would steal a freebie. How can a person do such? Aren't we, the Mango attendees, all supposedly to be educated? I don't know who you are but Allaah knows what you did and caused to us. I won't ask for bad things to happen to you. I just wish you would realize how much worry you caused us.

This is the very lovely and nice ate Lai. Visit her blog at PinayTravelista.com

To ate Lai, I am really really thankful and ashame because of what happened. I am so sorry. T_T Thank you so much.

To Mango, thank you for the invite. ^___^ I did enjoy that night except after I found out that I lost my freebie.
