Mango Lassi

Cold ,chilled and healthy drinks are like treat in hot summer days. Summer days in April-May are very hottest, but these days also give fun in playing watersports , enjoying holidays , going to Granny's place, non-stop playing with friends in park and specially no studies. And what about Afternoons? Yeah, Afternoon are for having some cold drinks. These times are specially for sugar cane juice, Lemonade, Aam ka Panna , Ice creams and many more.

When mangoes are in the home, we crave for Mango juice, Mango Lassi, Mango Slush and many healthy drinks with mangoes.

In mango season, My son loves to eat mango all the time. So I am trying to make some more healthy dishes for him like I am making Mango Lassi with adding dry fruits along with fresh cream.


Try Mango Lassi before Mango season is over, specially Alphonso mangoes taste very nice. But whatever type of mangoes available in your country try those and make Mango Lassi. I am sure you will love this.
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups chilled and roughly chopped mangoes
1 1/2 cups fresh yogurt/curd/dahi
1/2 cup cold milk
2 tbsp fresh cream (optional)
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. cardamom powder

Method :

1.Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till it is smooth and frothy.
2.Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Keep in refrigerator and serve chilled.

Garnish with cut mangoes/ dry fruits / kesar (saffron).
