Attanagalla Magistrate yesterday ordered the remand of the suspect until September 19 who had snatched away the mobile phone of a lecturer worth over Rs.40,000 while she was traveling in a bus.
The suspect a resident of Dunumala had snatched the phone from her possession while she was traveling in a bus plying from Colombo to Kandy on Monday. The incident had taken place at Nittambuwa. Nittambuwa police arrested the suspect who is a drug addict and police had found 200mg of heroin in his possession at the time of arrest.
