A person has been killed by his daughter's lover.
The yet-to-be-identified man was reportedly stabbed to demise by his daughter's lover in Otu-Jeremi, headquarters of Ughelli South Native Authorities Space, Delta State, Vanguard has reported.
Hassle began when the deceased returned dwelling from a journey on Wednesday and located the suspect merely recognized as Paul, in a romantic temper along with his daughter.
"Within the technique of asking what was happening, an argument broke out and so they began to combat."As they were fighting, the suspect stabbed the man with a broken bottle. The man died before he could get help", a supply stated.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Vivid Edafe, who confirmed the arrest, nonetheless, stated: "The suspect went to a girl's home. He claimed he heard a toddler crying, so he went there to hold the kid when the deceased got here and stated 'what are you doing with this child?'
"In the process, they started fighting and along the line, the suspect took a kitchen knife and stabbed the deceased."
