Entering virtual worlds in video games can be fun, but it’s important that you know your limits and when to get back on with your real life. Unlike this gamer who just went too far playing an online gaming marathon and paid the ultimate price.
After a 3-day non-stop gaming session, this 32-year-old man named Hsieh has died from a cardiac arrest, due to the over-exhaustion of continuous gaming. The Police say that the man had been dead for several hours before he was found by the staff of the Internet cafe in Taiwan. They said that the other gamers in the cafe have gone along with their gaming sessions even after the police arrived at the scene, as if nothing happened.
“He has been unemployed for a long time, and internet cafes were the only place he could go to,” a police spokesperson told CNN. “His family said he would disappear for two to three days on end.”

This is not the first time we hear about gamers taking their marathons too far. Recently there have been an increase in incidents involving binge gaming and I highly doubt this to be the last. Guys, take this as a lesson and learn to limit and control your games, don’t let the games control you.
