Emily and Andrew’s Wiltshire wedding
Emily and Andrew were married in May at Malmesbury Abbey, a historical abbey dating back to the twelfth century, with incredible period architecture used to beautiful effect in Kevin Mullins’s wedding photography.
There’s a tranquil beauty to these wedding photographs. Scroll down slowly and enjoy.
The beautiful wedding dress…
A very English cup of tea for the bride (lovely idea: wedding party mugs!)
Watching from a quiet corner as the bride gets ready for her big day
Inside Malmesbury Abbey, a building full of history and with a clearly devoted team ensuring everything is in place and looking perfect for the wedding day
Emily, bathed in sunshine, looking very beautiful and so very happy – not a sign of wedding nerves here…
… while Andrew wears his heart on his sleeve. The emotion in these pictures breaks my heart in the happiest way! These are so lovely.
Emily looks beautiful and Andrew is so proud and happy!
a respectful distance, a precious moment
Malmesbury Abbey is stunning. Some features date back to 1180… the porch below is one. That’s 830 years of history – what a place to get married.
Such a beautiful image – the curve of sunshine, the bride and groom in a world of their own, the magnificent history surrounding them. I love this so much.
Emily’s smile – so beautiful, so loving – a precious moment
The wedding reception is at The Old Bell Hotel, England’s oldest hotel just a short walk from Malmesbury Abbey.
(From their website:) The Old Bell Hotel is grade 1 listed with antiques and cosy corners, log fires in the winter, well tended gardens in the summer and friendly staff all year round, all of which contribute towards its own special charm.
Kevin says on his blog, “the speeches were both funny and very emotional, with lots of poignant moments and tears.”
Seeing this wedding makes me feel very privileged… it was a beautiful occasion and the emotions captured on camera are really special. I love a wedding blog that tells a story, and in such historic surroundings.
