Tomorrow is the final class in the Vanilla Ink - Precious Metal Clay course. I am so sad it's nearly over and am just hoping I'll have enough time to finish off my ideas. Most of my designs using PMC are still half completed but I did manage to get one thing completed last week. In amongst molding my clay and making ring bases for them to be attached to, I made up a little gift for Ross. This was a good opportunity to practice my sizing skills while also being a nice wee gesture of appreciation for my other half. Ross loves taking photos of gnarly textures and weathered objects so I wanted to create that look in ring form. It also meant I got to have fun bashing the silver wire with a hammer. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out and Ross seems pretty happy with it to.
