Make an iPhone Case & Wallet

By Thehousethatlarsbuilt @houselarsbuilt
One of my favorite things about design is problem solving. In fact, a good portion of the definition of design is just that. Take, for example, the challenge of creating something for a "business performer" for the new Christmas issue of Sister Magazine. What would you make? The challenging part was creating something both useful and pretty--something that could involve flowers somehow...(because life has come down to that).
Solution? An iPhone/wallet case. I could have created just an iphone case, but to be honest, I knew I wouldn't use it. BUT, add on a place to put some Benjamins and I might actually use it. And you know what? I HAVE! I, myself, am shocked.
AND, I got to put to use some of my favorite Liberty of London fabric. You know, instead of just sitting in my fabric pile staring at me wondering why dust is collecting.
Head on over to the beautiful, informational, Christmas issue of Sister Mag put out by the lovely ladies Thea and Toni. I just adore these girls. They are good, ambitious, meaningful, and collaborative. They have dozens more Christmas gift ideas that you can make yourself along with beautiful looking recipes made my dozes of bloggers and crafters. It's so, SO good.
