Majorette

The Benefit releases usually take over the blogosphere for a couple of weeks around there arrival, so I was a bit in two minds as to whether to post this one or not, but I loved it so much (plus you all know about the obsession that I have been having with blush recently - evidence of that here) that I just had to share it with you...
Benefit Majorette Blush is unlike any cream blush that I have used before. Designed to be used as a 'booster blush' it adds a gorgeous peachy pink flush to the cheeks, without looking like you are wearing anything at all. On me, it enhances the natural flushed color of my cheeks, perking up the face, and increasing the intensity (or mood - if you could call it that) of the other colours that you layer on top. The formula itself is super creamy and almost melts into the skin, allowing for a really natural finish that blends in perfectly and really smooths the skin. The smell, a clean and fresh slightly fruity scent, also makes it lovely to apply every morning.
I've been trying it out both alone and with other blushes. For me, the perfect accompaniment is Dandelion, which together create a really cute, girly pink with a youthful glow which is perfect for me for everyday wear. I'll definitely be investing in some more of there boxed blushers to play around with combinations though, I think it is such a great idea! On the other hand, I've also been loving wearing it alone, as it's such a unique shade and unlike anything that I own already. The creamy texture looks like it would be too sheer, but don't let that fool you, it provides a beautiful punch of colour, without ever looking over board, no matter how much you put on.
Definitely a favorite of mine, and perhaps even a favorite release ever from benefit, and that's saying something seeing how I use GimmeBrow everyday. Perfect for creating flushed autumn cheeks, as well as transitioning into the rest of the year as well, I can't see this leaving my makeup bag any time soon.
What about you, do you want to try this out?
