I received a huge haul of some really interesting books last week.
From Bloomsbury, I received the Bloomsbury crime set, consisting of three books:
- Before We Met by Lucie Whitehouse
- The Hanging by Lotte and Soren Hammer, and
- The Ghost Runner by Parker Bilal
All three books sound very interesting, and I can’t wait to dig into them.
From Rupa Publishing, I received Exit Interview by Amrita Mukherjee, and Simple Plane Love by Priyanka Luthra.
Exit Interview is about a young woman trying to make her mark in the world of journalism, who stumbles on what could be the break that she so desperately needs. Simple Plane Love is about a pilot who is living the high-life. I don’t know much about either of these books, but I love that they seem to feature strong career-oriented women. Also of late, Rupa Publications has been publishing some recently interesting, and slightly different books, and they almost always are a pleasant surprise.
