Macadamia Deep Repair Masque
It's been nearly 2 years now since I bleached the ends of my hair and did that whole ombre thing everyone did... oh awkward cause' I still have it. Since doing this, for obvious reasons my hair has just became really damaged. I think it was the end of last year that I had to dye it to a dark brown because the blonde ends were just so damaged.Since re-ombre'ing my hair again a few months ago I knew I HAD to take better care of my hair this time around, and I've been trying really hard to do so. I used to wash my hair every other day, now I just wash it when it has to be washed. It was horrible getting out of that habit I will say.
Another thing I've been doing a lot of is not using heat on my hair, I don't really blow dry my hair after every wash now and I don't use my straighteners that often either.I've also came to conclusion I need to stop being lazy and use hair masks as often as I can, which is what I've been doing. When I went to the VintSetFest event I brought a Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque and thought yay all my problems had been solved!
I've been using this once a week for a month now and I leave it in for about 10 minutes after washing my hair. When hearing this mask contained argan oil, macadamia oil, tea tree, chamomile oils, aloe and algae extracts I had high hopes for my hair. I couldn't wait to get home and try it.
After the first wash I was so impressed! It left my hair feeling so soft and silky. It looked really healthy and shiny. I LOVE the smell of this product, it smells really fresh and sweet a little bit like strawberry sweets but not an overpowering sickening smell. It just smells really summery and oh so yummy!
The texture of this product is really smooth and creamy, making it so easy to apply to the hair, it didn't feel greasy but it is a little bit of a pain to wash out - It feels like the product is in your hair after what feels like forever of rinsing.
