Story: Lyvia’s House starts when journalist Tara Manning (Caldwell) moves across the country with her new boyfriend Johnny (Malekos). Johnny has bought a new home so they can start a new life together. However, soon after arriving, Tara questions what Johnny has been up to.

Tara finds herself stuck miles away from her loved ones, her mother Paula (Tucker) and best friend Helen (Octavien). She feels trapped and wants more answers, but finds herself dealing with the nightmare scenario of being trapped in a relationship she can’t just walk away from.

Lyvia’s House is a horror thriller following a couple moving to a new location to start a new life. However, the boyfriend has a bigger secret, which the girlfriend starts investigating her new boyfriend. She uncovers a disturbing past behind everything going on.

This movie takes us down a dangerous path of a new life away from loved ones. It shows the outsider struggling to settle and learning the disturbing truth of the area. This goes down a strange direction and one you didn’t expect to see. It brings an unsettling truth to light, trying hard for a shocking conclusion. However, getting there can take longer than it needs to.
