The sunshine is still here, currently loving summertime and another weekend means more fetes, fairs and festivals, first up was Banner Cross Festival yesterday. Located in a leafy and affluent suburb of Sheffield the festival had a number of things going on, the church hall held a craft fair, where Beaumont Bags and many others operated whilst the church grounds staged a variety of food stalls offering everything from cakes to curries, it all looked super delicious. They even closed a road off for more stalls selling bits and bobs, I was tempted with a face paint, regret not having that done now.
Unfortunately despite the amount of work and organisation going into this event it just didn't pull the punters in. Maybe it was too nice-of-a-day to persuade locales to check out what was going on or maybe it just wasn't for them, it was their loss as a lot of effort had gone in to this event and even though sales weren't great for Beaumont Bags it was still a nice way to spend a sunny afternoon.
