By Eleni Balkouli @Love4Wed

Today’s wedding effortlessly blends elegant and romantic style, leaving us with a wedding that immediately draws the eye and stirs the imagination. Shontal and Akis wanted to wow their wedding guests, so they chose Moments Weddings & Events to take care of the planning and design, creating the most romantic setting for their special day. From the decoration of their wedding ceremony, to the wonderful glass vases with fresh flowers at their reception, adding soft and romantic accents, this wedding stole our hearts from the very first minute. Special moment of this unique day was the magical fireworks that impressed everyone! Enjoy!

The bride shared with us: “We got married in summer in Agia Maria, Chania, Crete. Aki went to high school with Shontal’s Best friend. The best friend told Shontal that she would love Aki and they should meet, however never they did not meet until 3 years later. Shontal and Aki have been dating since the moment they met.”

“My wedding dress was Gala by Galia Lahav- a dress perfect for a summer wedding in Greece.”

“For Aki and Shontals first date, they went to Dinner and Christmas at the park where there were  beautiful lights and multiple Christmas displays to walk through and enjoy. There are even Photo booths under missile toe, where they took photos. Nine years later, Aki took Shontal back for a date, and surprised her by getting down on one knee, in front of a bunch of strangers, while they were taking a photo under the missile toe.”

“Having the wedding in Greece, much decor was not needed, as everything in the area is already a sight to behold. We wanted clean elegant decor, including white flowers with greenery, and the romance that can only be provided by candles. The reception was seaside with spectacular views and a beautiful atmosphere.”

“For me the most favorite moment of our wedding was our first dance and for my husband was the our first look and for both of us was being introduced for the first time at the reception as Mr and Mrs Dionisopoulos.”

Bride’s advise: “Just enjoy the process, everything works out.”
