LUSH | Mother's Day 2015

By Hellofreckles @tashajsteel
If the recent Valentine's Day range from LUSH wasn't enough, here's my rundown of what's in store for Mother's Day.
In previous years, the Mother's Day range has been quite limited but they've really amped it up this year from bath bombs and bubble bars, to lovely gift sets and some shower products for those busy women in our lives.
There's still some Valentine's Day products lingering around, so if you're hoping to stock up, go to your local store quickly! I know my local store aren't getting in any more Unicorn Horns so make sure you get one (or three) before they disappear!

My Mam isn't really a bath person, so this aptly named, Yummy Mummy shower gel is perfect. With a sweet strawberry scent, it's a nice alternative to the other floral fragrances of the range. What's even better is the Yummy Mummy Body Conditioner, which has the same scent (made from real strawberry juice) and leaves skin super soft.
If you are a bath person, there's bound to be one for you in the new range. There's Mother Superior which I'm told looks like a character from Adventure Time (news to me as I've never watched the show) This bright blue bubble bar has a lovely uplifting citrus scent mixed with delicate Jasmine and Orange Blossom.
Rose Bombshell is a beautiful mix of rose oil, soya milk, orange flower and rosewood oil making it a serious indulgent treat. Your pink bath will be bursting with rose petals, so this is a great alternative to that flower bouquet.
Secret Garden has returned for another year and also features rose petals inside, swirled within the green, pink and yellow layers.
Rose is a new arrival this year and although it looks small, this bubblebar is really nourishing. Both this and Rose Bombshell have proven pretty popular recently for Valentine's Day too, must be that floral appeal!
Ultraviolet is a huge bubble bar that will easily see you through 3-4 baths. The violet leaf and jasmine oil scent lingers on the skin and if you love it that much, there's a new perfume, Kerbside Violet, launching on Friday (20th Feb) which will be right up your street. Kinda smells a bit like parma violets too, which is a bonus!
Bubblegrub is a little character! I thought this would have a citrus scent based on the colours but I was wrong. It is in fact, vanilla with a hint of coconut. There's sandalwood oil, tonka and shea butter so it's seriously nourishing as well as very cute with the chocolate eyes and vanilla pod antenna. The green section of the bubbleroon packs some serious colour, so if you're looking for a neon bath, this is the closest you're gonna get!
Love You Mum soap is a floral affair and another great alternative to bath products if your Mam's not big on bubbles.

Is there anything you'll be picking up from the range?
