Sadly, Walmart (noted for paying very low wages) is the largest employer in 22 states. Soon, a quarter of all employees in the country will be in low-wage jobs (making at or near the minimum wage -- which is not a livable wage). And yet, the Republicans (who control our government) refuse to even consider raising the minimum wage. That's just one more reason why they must be voted out of power in 2018.
