Spring weddings can be so beautiful and Caroline and Edward’s wedding at the the lovely Vasilias Nikoklis venue proves that point! The location had a special meaning to the bride as she mentioned to us and Vasilias Nikoklis was the perfect backdrop for the rustic chic wedding. From the pretty color palette of green, white and baby blue to the fresh white florals and rustic details of the venue, Caroline and Edward’s wedding in Cyprus is certainly going to inspire you!

«We met through friends. The day we met we were on Edwards boat going from one waterside bar to another with friends…»
«The wedding decorations were green and white, with touches of blue in areas to be in the theme of my blue bridesmaids. There was an arch of flowers at the ceremony which were kindly reused for the reception head table.»
«Our favorite moment was the the ceremony. I wanted to pause the moment in time when my husband to be turned round to see me…»

«My wedding dress was bought in a wedding dress boutique in Plymouth, Devon, near my home. The wedding dress originally had a big train full of lace and not much lace details on the dress itself, so my seamstress basically recreated the bottom detail by cutting back the train but unpinning all the lace and re stitching it by hand to the lower back of the dress and the veil.»
«The location is also only 10 minutes from where my father grew up and my late grandma raised him until they relocated to England, so I could very much feel my yiayia grandma’s presence that day. The sun was shining, it was the hottest day that week, and the authentic mountain side venue has lots of traditional Greek charm that my yiayia would have loved.»
The bride’s advice: «Try not to get carried away with the finer details and everything going perfectly, and try to take moments with your husband to take it all in – as the day goes very quickly!»
