The Beer Cafe recently launched its newest outlet at the ground floor of VR Mall, Bangalore / Bengaluru. The place is a true heaven for beer lovers with over 30+ variety of beer from around the world. The bright yellow and black color ambiance cannot be missed from a distance. The outlet is not only famous for its range of beer but also for its finger and fast food. The décor is filled with souvenirs and emblems. The menu at Beer Cafe is truly multi-cuisine with the widest collection of beers under one roof. The Beer Cafe ‘s new menu also gives you food pairing suggestions to discover the right style of beer that would work best with your favorite dishes. For example wheat beer works best with light food and salads, while dark lager goes well with spicy food.
We tried a couple of beer like the Krombacher Pils from Germany with its distinctive, smooth bitter taste and a full-flavored aroma to create this unique brew. The Hoegaarden from Belgium had a unique appearance as it has one-of-a-kind taste – sweet and sour beer with little bitterness, slight spice, and a strong touch of coriander and orange. While the Peroni from Italy is known for its crisp and lightly sparkling, its unique taste is refreshing and dry with a clear- cut character.
For food we tried the Nachos and Cheesy Dip, Corn Bhel and the Mac and Cheese Finger. The Nachos with the freshly made Cheesy dip was good in taste. The Corn Bhel is the appetizer with Indian twist as it is topped with Sev and papdi to make it crunchy. The dish was tangy as well as spicy. The Mac and Cheese Finger were served with a house made mustard mayonnaise, the dish came out really well.
We also tried the Masala Burgers made with a spicy masala patty and served with French fries. The burger was quite a fill for an empty stomach and the taste was excellent. Next came the Brownie with vanilla Ice cream, this warm fudgy chocolate brownie was served with Vanilla Icecream and chocolate sauce on top.
The Beer Cafe also introduced a new line of merchandise comprising over 30 products across categories such as gaming, gadgets, décor, glassware, personal and office products. The Beerosphere range had some quirky and unusual products while others quite handy and useful. The merchandise is priced betweem Rs.95 till Rs. 3750. Some of the most interesting gadgets include the USB Mini Fridge, the Spin chill, the Beer Cap Collector and so on.
