Love on Canvas: Printcopia Canvas Prints

By Mommabethyname @MommaBeThyName

I love pictures. I do. Though, it’s a fact that many of them are trapped somewhere inside my hard drive. I haven’t printed out pictures in quite some time.

It’s no secret we’ve had a rough summer, and, as a result, all of our family pictures have been in a box. The box has been moved around, though, sadly, nothing’s yet come out of it.

Printcopia.com (a division of buildasign.com, maker of signs, decals, magnets, banners, and bumper stickers) is in the business of canvas prints. When I was approached by Printcopia, I have to admit, I felt a little guilty. Some as yet unseen picture would get top billing, while the other, once prominent, more mature, established pictures would continue to collect dust in said box.

Still, I pushed through the guilt, and began scrolling and scrolling and scrolling through my thousands of digital picture files until I found the perfect one.

You may remember this picture from my twins’ Christening almost a year ago:

Love the sunlight on him!

As the caption states, I did love the sunlight on him. We were sitting in church, and it appeared as if heaven were reaching down and giving him a kiss.

Many, many pictures have been taken of my family since then. My son’s now got a full mouth of teeth that he uses to the full extent of his abilities, and his forehead has filled out (quite nicely, I might add) with soft, wavy, light brown hair. But this picture’s stuck with me.

So I decided this was the picture I would convert into a canvas.

The process of ordering was as simple as one could imagine. Upload the picture, then fit it to the print. One could make adjustments to the size and orientation (landscape vs. portrait), and, honestly, before I knew it, I was through.

In less than a week, I received a high-quality canvas print, mounted to solid wood, with hanging hardware attached. She was ready to hang. I couldn’t be more pleased.

The result?

There’s one picture up. I should get a little credit for that. The others will come out of the box soon, m’kay?

I love my canvas print, and I’m so certain you will, too, so I’m delighted to announce I’m giving one 8×10 away! A canvas print would be perfect for family photos, wedding and anniversary pictures, and landscapes as well. I was considering a landscape myself, but my feisty little cherub seemed to win out.

All you need to do is leave a comment here, sharing with me which memory you would like to see immortalized on canvas, by 6pm ET on October 19, 2012.
