How would you describe your wed­ding style?

Tra­di­tional and pretty. We had a but­ter­fly & baby pink theme and color scheme.

We had a tra­di­tional church cer­e­mony, our vicar was so friendly and sweet, he made it a really spe­cial and unique part of the day. It was def­i­nitely some­thing to remem­ber: with loads of funny jokes and he kept show­er­ing us with gifts! He also made made all our guests feel really involved

Which read­ings did you choose? Foun­da­tions of Love & Corinthians

Tell us a lit­tle about your wed­ding venue styling and details:

The venue was just gor­geous, when we first saw it we knew we had to book it! We didn’t feel the need to cre­ate too many addi­tional details as the styling of the build­ing and gar­dens were so ele­gant and pretty. Luck­ily the sun was out all day which made the set­ting even more perfect.

Invi­ta­tions and recep­tion stationery:

We ordered our invi­ta­tions online from www.brideandgroomdirect.co.uk, a great site with loads of ideas and options – a top tip site for brides to be! We cre­ated our own seat­ing plan board and gift box — which was actu­ally great fun to do!

Wed­ding music and entertainment:

For our first dance we chose Beyonce’s ver­sion of At Last. Choos­ing was so hard as you want to pick some­thing that has mean­ing to it! My hus­band on the other hand just wanted some­thing he could dance to!! For the rest of the evenings music was decided to go with a DJ who was a friend of a friend – cheesier than we expected, but great fun!

What did you wear?

The groom wore black tails from Moss, with a baby pink cra­vat which matched our baby pink brides­maid dresses.

My acces­sories were from a bridal bou­tique called Bridezil­las, and the jew­ellery really matched the detail­ing on the back of my dress. My dress was also from a bridal bou­tique shop and was the first dress and only dress I tried on. It really is true you know when you have found the one.

Mem­o­rable wed­ding day moments

There were so many great moments through­out the day. We were so for­tu­nate with the gor­geous weather, it seemed to make every­thing sparkle and shine! The vicar was superb and made the cer­e­mony a par­tic­u­larly mem­o­rable time. But I think my stand out favorite part of the day was the speeches; they were very spe­cial — lots of laugh­ter and lots of love.

Wed­ding day advice:

Don’t panic – I wor­ried so much before the day, but when it can to it every­thing just seems to work out per­fectly. There’s no point in wor­ry­ing — Noth­ing could spoil the big day!!!
