Longleat | Day Two

By Ourbabyblog @OurBabyBlogx

Hello all! This post is the follow on from our first day at Longleat a few days ago, we had such an amazing second day, there is literally so much to do, you really do need a few days to do it all in! We still have a few other bits to do including the secret gardens, the boat ride, the maze and the bat cave just to name a few! But on this day we actually went in for the Safari and seeing as there were only about 5 other cars there too, we took our time and it was so much nicer! The first little area once you park up is where the Giraffes and Zebras are, including a little baby zebra too which was one of the cutest things i've seen, ever. He still had proper little fluffy hair on his back which was super adorable! Abbie had great fun rounding up the guinea fowl, or what she called 'chickens', they equally loved her so it was good fun to watch, she disappeared around the corner with them until Ben ran after her! We then headed over the wobbly bridge to see the Goats, the naughty Tortoise (any Peppa Pig fans out there?) and the Lemurs which also had little babies, I'm not the type of person to get broody but I totally wanted to steal a couple and keep them as pets, i'm not sure I would've gotten away with that though..still, there were lots of awww's coming from both Ben & I! You all probably know whats at Longleat anyway, so I won't bore you with the Safari details, but it was a lovely drive around, we saw lots of animals and Abbie even offered her hand to one of the deer, luckily they don't like toddler hands very much, phew! We then headed to the front of the house for a little walk and play, we got soaked by the fountain just as the wind changed, before grabbing an ice cream from one of the little shops and heading home! I literally can't wait to go back again, I definitely think we will be renewing our pass annually from now on! I'll stop rambling now, here are some pictures :)
