We're not sure about you, but when someone - be it a person or a review website - feels the need to state "you can trust me", then alarm bells start ringing. If a person or a thing is trustworthy, then surely that trustworthiness will be self evident.
That's just one of the reasons why we've been inspired to ask our London Walkers & Daily Constitutionalists to recommend their favourite London Hotels. DC Editor Adam writes... Great to meet the Taylors from Alabama last night on the Jack the Ripper Walk. We had a great chat (Mr Taylor filled me in on the finer points of college football - my new year resolution is to finally get to grips with American football!) and they were pleased to recommend their hotel to their fellow London Walkers
"We're at the Club Quarters Hotel Trafalgar Square. It's a businessy-type hotel and there were great deals available. The staff were really helpful - especially with the wrist bands for access to Trafalgar Square and the New Year fireworks. We were a bit baffled by all that, all the road closures and access but the staff made it all really clear."
