London Photoblogs…
Slice of London Life is the blog of photographer Nicola Albon, and we loved her recent shot of a couple kissing outside a boarded-up Indian restaurant. With the shot she poses the question: is romance dead? It’s both provoking and funny – visit her blog at sliceoflondonlife.com to make up your own mind whether romance is dead or not.
London Walks regular Tony Makepeace always brings his camera along when he joins us on our perambulations. A couple of weeks ago he captured some great shots on Isobel’s Fair Maids, Feminists & Philanthropists walk. You can view them HERE. Keep up the great work Tony!
Our own editor and London Walks guide Adam curates what he describes as a “Daily-ISH” London Photoblog called The 38 To Clapton Pond. The blog is named for his favourite bus route, from which, he claims, every aspect of London life can be seen – and the photos are a mix of the famous London locations that he comes across when taking visiting students on walking tours, and the more obscure corners he digs out in his research.
A London Walk costs £9 – £7 concession. To join a London Walk, simply meet your guide at the designated tube station at the appointed time. Details of all London Walks can be found at www.walks.com
