Packed with info for fans, both traveling and London resident, for ground-hoppers or just plain old anoraks (such as your correspondent here), it aims to round up all the football within the M25 taking place in the top TEN tiers of the English football pyramid. We’re privileged to have a number of West Ham fans among our London Walks guides – big Andy Ashleigh among them.  Our fave West Ham blog is written by a long-suffering Hammer, Pete May – whose excellent book Irons in the Soul is required reading for any London football fan. Pete’s West Ham blog is hammersintheheart.blogspot.co.uk.

We’ve long been fans of Transpontine, the South London blog for “New Cross, Brockley, Deptford and other beauty spots” as it says on their masthead. And while it’s not a football blog, its brief is as varied as the areas it covers. So here’s a post from them about Dulwich Hamlet F.C of the Isthmian League – transpont.blogspot.co.uk.

We’re including them in spirit because, if they had been founded today, then they would have been a blog. Instead, they were born out of the fanzine culture of the 80s – homemade fan magazines back in the day when the photocopier began the democratisation of the publishing world.
