History: In terms of foundation, Westminster Bridge is the second oldest bridge in central London after London Bridge. There has been a bridge here since 1750.
Famous Friends: Canaletto painted the first Westminster Bridge (in oils: he didn’t work for the council)…
Did You Know…?: The current seven-arch bridge is a Grade II* listed structure.
