Logo Evolution: Nintendo Vs Sega

This infographic by The Logo C takes a look at how the logos of Sega and Nintendo have evolved since each company started. Nintendo was first founded in Kyoto, Japan in 1889 and went by the name Nintendo Koppai. In 1963 they changed the name from Nintendo Playing Cards Co. Ltd. to Nintendo Co. Ltd. Sega was founded in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1940 and went by the name of Standard Entertainment Games. In 1951  they changes their name to  Service Games, in 1965 to Sega Enterprises, and then to Sega Corporation in 2000.
