This year’s Wings Over Solano airshow displayed this F-35 that flew in from Luke AFB. First flown in 2006, after years of delays and cost overruns, the U.S. Air Force declared the F-35A combat ready on 2 August 2016. This aircraft, AF-104, was delivered earlier this year (2017) with a forecast total of 1,763 for the US Air Force. Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture and Aurora HDR.
