I've listened to the complete audio book of Locke & Key but have never read the individual graphic novels. I absolutely loved this first episode and will probably read the rest of the series. This is an interactive graphic novel so I was able to zoom in on individual panels to read them. This is much better than other graphic novels I've read which weren't interactive and often with very small text and hard to read. I loved the story of Welcome to Lovecraft. This sets up the rest of the series. The book is quite gory at times especially in the opening section which recalls the brutal murder of Mr Locke and the end section when Mr Locke's killer is on the rampage.
