It includes 24 ancient villages, belonging to three different Italian regions (Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise), all firmly anchored to their past.

Modern man, completely involved in super-technological society, taking shelter here can find a piece of his history, made up of geological vicissitudes, pristine forests and a sober, thrifty and creative culture.

The atmosphere that surrounds us in these territories tells an old story, made of strong traditions, arts and crafts passed down in families for centuries and which express the typical character of the local population,

Volunteers for Nature Thanks to a volunteer project open to everyone, the “National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise” gives to each of us the opportunity to address an unique experience: living and working in contact with a natural environment, through which you can stop, think and be aware of those individual and social behaviours which place the human being in the right role in the ecosystem Nature.

Participants will be engaged in monitoring, education and environmental interpretation, contacts with the public, television and photojournalism, cultural animation, simple maintenance of facilities and trails, assistance and information to visitors or cleaning.

All with the supervision and coordination of personnel of the Park.

Every year the volunteers grow,  not only in number but, above all,  in the specialty and passion with which  support and motivate their efforts.
