Little Miss A at 15 Months

By Mummyoftwo @RaspberryGiggle

The past few weeks Little Miss A has been gaining ever more independence.

She is a very funny little person now and gone is any sign of baby!

Her speech is coming on great. She has lots of new words in her vocabulary, her favourite of which is 'good girl' though 'out' is also becoming another much used word (as she insists on going in all of the cupboards!).

She is sitting and playing by herself for longer periods. She loves her Happyland toys and will quite happily sit and drive all of the people around in the cars or see how many she can fit into the house.

In the mornings, before the school run, she will go and get Little Mr A's shoes and hat/gloves and give them to him. She has even started putting on her own hat and gloves now!

Once we are ready to go out of the door she will go with Little Mr A to the kitchen and get our dog, Shadow, a biscuit. She gives Shadow the biscuit, says 'good girl' and 'bye' then we can get out of the door!

Her newest 'achievement' is learning how to come down the stairs. Because she was an early walker she has been going up the stairs without any bother for quite some time, however, up until now has not learnt how to come back down. We have been encouraging her to come down on her bum which she is now really getting the hang of! Although it will be a long time before I dare let her down on her own, she is gaining more and more independence with every passing day.

I imagined with her not going to nursery she may be a 'baby' for longer, however, time seems to be going faster than with Little Mr A!

My Little Miss is growing up.... fast!
