Little Indiana The Magazine

little Indiana Magazine

Yesterday marked the debut of the little Indiana Magazine!

It’s full of all the things you would expect from little Indiana:small town fun!

little Indiana the Magazine

There’s a lot packed inside. You can read about an 1851 mansion and the renovations to turn it into a bed and breakfast (and a National and Indiana Landmark!), check out a bunch of mom and pop top shops, dress shops, and even great places for holiday gatherings.

You won’t want to miss a Christmas memory from a small town that no longer exists, treasured family recipes, and the Hoosier Marketplace–my picks for great gifts by Indiana artisans and small business folks. Very merry, indeed!

I didn’t do this one alone–I had the help of a bunch of amazing Hoosier authors, writers, and bloggers. Names  you may very well remember since most have been featured little Indiana bloggers at one time or another. Writers include: John Updike, Mark A. Smith, Cheryl Bennet, Red Tash, Lindsey  Stuffel, Kelly Heet, Emily Perkins, Pam Cosby, Jodi McKenna, and even “little” little Indiana (our 7 year old son).

They are all amazing writers and each told a story or shared a memory or a recipe. Whatever it was…it has to do with the holiday season!

little Indiana The Movie?

Do you remember that old Mel Brooks movie, Spaceballs? Spaceballs the Movie, Spaceballs the lunchbox, Spaceballs the Shaving Cream, Spaceballs the Flame Thrower, and on and on? Well, I kind of feel like that today with the release of the little Indiana Magazine!

Now I can say “little Indiana the Magazine! little Indiana the website! little Indiana the PBS segment!” I guess that’s one way to build an empire, right?

Let’s just say that this issue is packed with good stuff. This is a test issue to see how it flies–and if it does, you can expect to see it quarterly. To keep up with it, you can easily subscribe by RSS so you receive an instant emailed update each time a new little Indiana Magazine goes live.

This is not the RSS used to subscribe to little Indiana the Website, but rather a way to know instantly when a new magazine issue has been published.
