If it’s not already abundantly clear, we’re pretty taken with Andrew St. James. His songwriting harkens back to the glory days of folk, while adding in Ryley Walker style guitar and vulnerability through his picking and fragile vocals. We’ve been looking forward to his newest effort The Big Ole Veronica Apology Record, for what seems like months – which each new offering just as tantalizing as the last. We’re happy to report the record holds up to our expectations, it’s at times rollicking and melancholic, but it’s always beautiful. Of the record St. James says:

“After my second LP was released in 2014, I was discouraged from self-releasing any more music. But as my catalog grew, I became antsy and felt the need to get the music out there. So, I combed through my back catalog and decided on the 11 tracks that would become The Big Ole Veronica Apology Record. I won’t get into the tale of the two Veronicas, and I’m not certain it amounts to an apology, but I know it feels good.”

Listen to The Big Ole Veronica Apology Record above and be sure to grab it when it comes out tomorrow.
