Plot: When the host of a failing children’s science show tries to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming an astronaut by building a rocket ship in his garage, a series of bizarre events occur that cause him to question his own reality.

Story: Linoleum starts as we meet science show professor Cameron (Gaffigan). His show has always struggled to gain an audience but his passion for teaching has always been there. Elsewhere, his wife Erin (Seehorn) is divorcing him, and his life is starting to feel stale.
When a rocket crashes into the back garden of the family. It sends Cameron on a strange journey. He is feeling left out after his show gets picked up only for him to get replaced. Meanwhile, Cameron decides to build his own rocket and fulfil his dream of being an astronaut.
Verdict on Linoleum
Linoleum is a comedy sci-fi movie following a man that starts to question his own reality. He has dreamed of so much more than his life offered and now he wants to make it a reality. However, his dreams bring a bigger challenge than he was expecting.
This movie is an interesting story that explores lost dreams in later years. It follows the man who wanted more but finds himself challenged by time as he races for more. Meanwhile, we get to see the troubles that come from a broken family. The story ends up showing us a much more impactful story that you could never have imagined seeing that hits extremely hard. It will bring you to a new level of surprise and makes the movie feel even more enjoyable.
Final Thoughts –Linoleum is a wonderful movie with a surprise, unlike anything you could have imagined.
