We are on Links à la Mode for the week of February 4! What a way to start our editorial month. Enjoy reading the roundup below.
Links à la Mode, February 4
I painted my fingernails the other day, which is a very rare occasion, and I found myself admiring them at a glance all day long. Clearly I should pamper myself more often. So, you can imagine my excitement when many IFB bloggers chose to submit beauty focused posts this week. What a wonderful compilation of products focused on keeping our appearance not only beautiful but healthy. Oil for skin and hair, trends in make-up, a sweet updo, and a morning skincare regime that won’t break the bank or your face.
Something else that won’t break are favorite trends. Fringe, flared jeans, and turtlenecks are all still on the forefront of current looks. Sounds like That 70’s Show to me. Also, the long and short of wearing a tulle skirt, Canadian lingerie, and a handbag line that will play tricks on your eyes.
Now, between an interview, lists of fashion books and films, and a DIY Valentine’s decor project, I’ve copied and pasted, made copious notes, and made plans to sneak away to the local craft store. Thanks people. There are also a couple opportunities to link up with other fashion bloggers and perhaps one or two more if you go back through the Facebook LALM submissions. It was a super difficult editing process this go round.
Oh, and if you’re wondering what color nail polish I used. Red, of course.
