However, in suggesting that they are like U2, they do fail to reach the soaring heights that U2 manage and, at times, we'll be honest, it does leave us wanting that little bit more with not much but THAT name in mind.
Their sound is fresh though, and something that hasn't really been current for quite some time. The fact is, we're living in a very reminiscent time when it comes to music and, with acts like Jake Bugg, coming to the forefront, we've got to be honest and suggest that we don't see why The Luka State, given the right backing in terms of a recording contract, decent exposure, and a cracking music video and single, couldn't be part of the revolution.
We feel that this isn't the best that they could offer and will be waiting in hope that they offer something a little more powerful and awe-inspiring soon, although, that is surely not to suggest that this band are at all bad, or that we wouldn't listen to them again, and again!
