World’s biggest tech companies are now preparing to show off their latest gadgets at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in January. LG has now shared some information about a new gadget they’re planning to introduce at the event. LG Chromebase is an all-in-one computer powered by Google’s Chrome OS, first in the world.
With a full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display, all the necessary hardware has been carefully packed inside the 21.5-inch LG Chromebase to fit in nicely on any desktop. A 4th gen Intel chip will power-up the computer along with 2 GB of RAM, 16GB iSSD storage and 1.3 megapixel webcam with integrated microphone for video calling. The computer will also come with keyboard, mouse and other accessories need to run at once, according to LG Press Release.

LG has bigger plans with this new Chromebase as it claims to target both personal and business users. ”LG Chromebase is the wave of the future for desktops, expected to be widely adopted not only at home, but especially in schools, hotels, call centers and other business settings.” said Hyoung-sei Park, head of the IT Business Division at LG Electronics.
LG will showcase the Chromebase at CES 2014.
