After Apple has set a new standard in mobile technology with the use of fingerprint scanner in a home button, and other leading mobile companies like LG and HTC revealed their plans of integrating a fingerprint scanner in the rear panel of their next flagship models.

These two companies might adopt the implementation of sapphire home button in their next-generation flagship models, so the devices would work on the same fingerprint recognition principle. Most likely, next smartphones to have this advanced feature will be HTC One 2 and G3, according to the sources.
